Her song ‘can I be’ was selected to compete in the Williamsburg Songwriter’s Competition ’06… She has graced the stage w/ the likes of Regina Spektor, Joey Ramone, Patti Smith, David Johanson, Murphy's Law, BETTY, the Spin Doctors, & many more...Rew*’s song ‘sometimez’ off her ***5 songz*** release, received an honorable mention in The Big Ugly Review ’06. "Sometimez a 'Grand Runner Up.' Great female Americana sound in the Lucinda Williams/Gillian Welch vein. Very strong melody; well-crafted, and would be a good cut to send to an Americana label A & R department" ~The Big Ugly Review. ‘Sometimez’ is also on the Rockin’ Mom’s Vol. 1 & the Mamapalooza Vol. 1 compilations and has been covered by other artists often.
Rew* has performed at SXSW & the Millennium Music Conference in '06, Jazzfest '05 in NOLA & tours the east coast of the US nonstop getting lots of local TV & radio spots...Rew* also is an active organizer with the international festival MAMAPALOOZA, which she performs in annually. In her free time she organizes benefits & reads poetry in NYC hip venues…
